“In the fire zone of real work, if it takes longer than sixty seconds to file something where it belongs, you won’t file it you’ll stack.”David Allen, Getting Things Done
A couple of years ago, I went all in on Marie Kondo. I’m actually still right there with her and her appreciation for service performed by her…stuff. There is “true” beauty in the simplicity of her method – one that is paralleled by David Allen in his book, Getting Things Done. As I’ve said before, simple doesn’t mean easy.
There is brilliance in having a decluttered mind – one that I hope to achieve in the near future 🤣
It’s the same with writing an offer for a client. There is an elegance in the standard CAR form (even the new one!). Everything you need to say about the offer is right there. There’s no need to make it confusing 🤷🏼♀️ by writing extraneous terms and qualifications and if/then statements. Keep it simple and clean and the path will lead you the rest of the way.
